We call her as "Ngarot Girl". Ngarot is a tradition carried out before entering the rice planting season. During the ceremony, officials and village elders handed rice seeds, a pitcher, fertilizers and agricultural tools as a sign of the growing season begins and to uplifting farmers. The ceremony was followed by a mask performances, tanjidor, and a single organ.In the tradition of Ngarot, a village girl, who had grown-up, walk around the village with "Kebaya" clothing and wreaths that adorn the head. Traditional music also accompanies the parade of girls. Ngarot synonymous with teenagers as a form of gratitude to the young people who want to farm.
