Roman mirror. Restorer working with pieces of a mirror found at a Roman burial site. This mirror was found at a columbarium, a type of burial site used for funerary urns, which contained ashes from cremations. The columbarium was discovered at the Monte di Procida archaeological site, which is on the island of Procida, near Naples, Italy. The area around Naples was conquered by the Romans in the 4th century BC, and the Roman period came to an end there in the 5th century AD.
