The uterus can be seen at upper right (pink) with the affected fallopian tube joining it at upper centre. Although many cysts are benign (non-cancerous), they can cause discomfort or reproductive dysfunction. If this is the case, they may be removed by keyhole surgery of the abdomen (laparoscopy), as seen here.
