Secondary kidney cancers. Gross clinical specimen of a kidney with lumps (white) that are secondary (metastatic) kidney cancers. The cancer has spread from a breast through the bloodstream. Metastatic cancers can be surgically excised, but will also require systemic (whole body) treatments, such as chemotherapy, to treat undetected metastasis to other areas of the body.
