Ulcers in the stomach or intestines are typically caused by infection with Helicobacter pylori bacteria. Jejunal ulcers may cause abdominal pain, blood in the faeces and weight loss. Treatment is aimed at killing the bacteria, so antibiotics are given. A pill camera is a pill- sized camera swallowed to image the digestive tract.
