Eye test. Composite image of the letters of an eye test chart over a human eye. The chart contains letters of decreasing size, and is used to measure how well a person can see. Spectacles (containing lenses to correct vision defects) may be required if the eye chart letters cannot be seen clearly. Typical eye disorders are long-sightedness (hypermetropia) and short-sightedness (myopia).
