With Space Telescope, astronomers will be able to observe some 300 times the volume of space that can now be seen with the largest ground-based telescopes. In addition to this, Space Telescope will produce observations of much higher resolution (detail) because it will not suffer the blurring effect of the Earth's atmosphere.
