This rock house is just north of the Navajo Bridge on US 89A. North of Flagstaff & Cameron, Arizona. Blanche Russell's car broke down near here in the 1930#s, She liked the area, bought the property and built this rock house around part of the #mushroom rocks# formation. These "mushroom rocks" in this area are interesting as they tumble down, the earth erodes under them, they tumble down again and repeat the process over & over.
