It includes interior decorations by Giulio Romano in the Palazzo del Te; Mantua; medieval mosaics in Sicily; and Roman wall paintings from Pompeii and Herculaneum. Wilhelm Zahn (1800-1871) was a German artist; architect and academic who traveled around Europe documenting classical and Renaissance architecture.
