Mikulov; Czech Republic; charnel house (kostnice) and tomb. The crypt room was created during work to the church of St. Wenceslas in the 15th century. It houses two coffins; for members of the prominent local Lobkowicz family. The bones of an estimated 2000 people were added in the 19th century; after a hygiene ordinance mandated that burials in the center of the city be removed. Photo 2008.
