In the right foreground holding up their hands, are two nudes, one fair one dark, who seem to be the same woman. they are standing in a tiled hall with an open arch in the background. The left foreground only half seen is a fully clothed man who might be Delvaux himself. Beyond him are a woman wearing a long dress but displaying her right breast and a bowler hatted businessman type, there is a similar couple behind the two nudes.
