Infantry crossbowman; 12th century. He wears a type of jaques (bodysuit) in deerskin issued to French bowmen by Louis XII. The hood and gorgerin (collar) are of one piece. He wears a long blue sleeveless tunic. He holds a crossbow and arrow.
