American battleship arrives at Portsmouth for a visit . The USS Oklahoma ( BB - 37 ) arrived at Porstmouth for a visit . The Oklahoma is usedas a training ship for mid shhipmen of the Naval Academy . She was in the division commanded by Rear Admiral T S Rodgers which during the war was sent to Berehaven as an additional guard for the American troop convoys in the Atlantic . Two other battleships , the USS Arkansas ( BB-33 ) and the USS Wyoming ( BB-32 ) , which also served in British waters during the war , are to visit Portsmouth as well .
