Workmen are rushing to complete Pier No 90 , which is to berth the Queen Mary , Britain ' s giant liner , when she arrives in New York at the end of her maiden voyage , scheduled to commence on May 27 . The pier , with two others on New York ' s , North River ' s was constructed with a grant of nearly 瞿 300 , 000 from the Public Works Administration .
