Three young men who are going to Australia as settlers left Downing Street to make the entire journey to Australia by bicycle, except where seas have to be crossed. The cyclists surrounded by a crowd as they left Downing Street (left to right): J. Algar, and W. Barber, both 22 and L. Cross, 25. They are being assisted to emigrate by the Church of England Council of Empire Settlement. They were wished "Godspeed" by Mr Malcolm MacDonald, Dominions Secretary. 1 July 1937
