Count Haugwitz Revention has Lido holiday, meeting with wife, but no reconciliation. Holidaymaking on the Lido at Venice, Italy, Count Kurt Haugwitz Reventlow had a meeting with his wife, the former Barbara Hutton, Woolworth heiress, who was also on holiday, and the Count subsequently made a statement in which he said that he and his wife have now abandon all hope of a reconciliation. It is understood that the Count discussed with the Countess the whole position arising out of their estrangement, including the future of their small son, Lance.
