The worst snowstorm of the winter hit Glen Ogle in West Perthshire yesterday and twelve inches of snow fell last night Drifts of four and five inches were common Several heavy lorries and cars were stranded overnight The picture gives a general view showing the chaotic condition of the traffic on the Lochearnhead to Crianlarich road which was blocked by snow then cleared and then blocked by lorries which had skidded Traffic was held up for about three hours January 27th 1954
