London: Abdi Dualeh the well-known broadcaster from Radio Hargeisa made several broadcasts while in London recently and is here seen with three members of the BBC Swahili Service. left to right Abdi Dualeh; Ismail Ali Sheikh Maddar; Jama Khalaf Farah and Mohomed Abshir Yusuf. Dualah was a pioneer for broadcasting in the ex-somaliland Protectorate and his services were marked by the award of the British Empire Medal in 1953, Since the Independance of the Somali Republic Mr Dualeh has continued to broadcast from Radio Hageisa and has recently acted as information Officer for the Northern Region. 22 April 1962
