The extremely cold spell London is experiencing has made the birds of the city very tame - in most of the big London parks they gather anxiously round the banks of the lakes eagerly awaiting scraps of food - the voracious gull driven inland by the cold is well to the fore and with his superior wing power manages to steal most of the tit bits - photo shows gulls at the Serpentine in Hyde Park eagerly snatching scraps of food from kindly Londoners January 29th 1935
