Free Cycle Repairs. Two 14 year old boys Peter Kane and Tony Carlson, of Romford, Essex, have opened a cycle repair workshop where cycles of children with unsafe machines can supply the spare parts and have the work done for free. The accent of this enterprise is "Safety",for both boys are members of the Romford Junior Safety Committee and are examiners for the Cycling Proficiency Test. 26th Oct 1961.
