As soon as the news of the birth of a baby boy to Princess Elizabeth reached her grandmother Queen Mary at Marlborough House last night , she drove to the Palace and visited the mother and baby. She received a great ovation from the waiting crowds as she entered and left the Palace . Photo shows : Crowds beseiging Queen Mary 's car as it left the as it left the Palace after her visit .
