Sie Ambrose Heal , the well known furniture desinger celebrates his 80th birthday tomorrow 3rd September 1952 . It was in 1893 that Ambrose Heal Jnr (now Sir Ambrose Heal) entered the business which his father John Harris Heal had set up in 1810 in Rathbone Place , Oxford Street . Since 1810 the business has been under the personal control of the Heal family and the firfth generation is now represented on the baord of directos .
