Clothes For Communist Countries. Pictured at today's London showing of Astraka, the pioneers in the simulated fur field are models - left to right: Ellen Davis, Stella Grove and Carolyn Methven, wearing some of the creations which Astraka representatives will try and interest Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Russia in, as well as non-Communist countries. Ellen wears a simulated red fox toque hat with a Minkaleen coat (simulated mink); Stella wears a "Tam O' Shanter" in simulated leopard, with an Ocelot coat with a simulated beaver collar, and Carolyn wears a pull-on cloche hat in reversible material to match a simulated tiger-coat reversing to beige calf. These clothes and others will leave for their tour of the Iron Curtain countries on Saturday, June 12th. London, England. 08 June 1965.
