A cosmopolitan throng of boyers gathered today, at the Royal exchange in Coleman Street, city of London, when the first of a series of 3 weeks sales reopened London as the wall sports markets of Europe. At the first Dominion War sales to be held here since 1939, about 100,000 bales are on offer and over 20,000 bales of Australian, New Zealand and South African walls came under the hammer today. 12 September 1946
