Paterson wins in seven rounds. Jackie Paterson, of Glasgow, won his fifth title when he knocked out Johnny King in the seventh round at Belle Vue, Manchester, last night (Monday) for the British bantamweight championship. Paterson is now the holder of the world, British and Empire flyweight titles and the British and Empire bantamweight Championships. The veteran King for of a gallant fight against the younger man, and was floored many times before going down for a count of 10 from a right on the angle of the jaw. Photo shows, the final knockdown.
