Young horseman Kim Colling, son of the well known Newmarket trainer is growing up in the family tradition. Near the starting gate at Newmarket he seems keen to test his pony against the racehorses lining up for a race. But the pony, who has obviously studied the race-card, thinks five furlongs a nice distance for a steady walk. from the jockeying for position in the background, some of the runners seem to share his opinion. 14 May 1947
