The order of St John of Jerusalem, suppressed in Scotland since the time of Mary Queen of Scots, has been reformed after a lapse of 400 years. The reforming ceremony took place at Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh, where the Duke of Gloucester attended as Grand Prior of the Order.
