Film star Joan Hopkins, playing the part of Princess Charlotte in Columbia-British production, "The First Gentleman", changes from her regal robes to something more in keeping with 1947. Current "shooting" against the authentic background-pavilion gives members of the authentic chance to have a swim when work on the set is done. Here a powdered footman from the film helps Joan into a cloak as she leaves the Pavillion in swimming costume for a dip. 27 August 1947
