UNORTHODOX: FLORENCE, ITALY: An unorthodox tailored frock whose skirt is just as long as an evening dress was created by Florentine Emilio Pucci for his autumn/winter, 1965 collection. In three pieces, the frock is pervinca coloured (a tone of light blue) "pique" silk. The long skirt and the jacket are plain pervinca while the blouse is, on the background of another shade of blue, embroidered in nuanced tones of blue-and-green. The blouse is chiffon. The skirt hobbles at the knees and the jacket is double-breasted and rather loosely falling with squared shoulderline, three quarter sleeves and a little trimming at the collar and pockets. 6 August 1965
