The Perfume River crosses the city of Hue in the central Vietnamese province of Thua Thien Hue. In the autumn; flowers from orchards upriver fall into the water; giving it an aromatic smell鈥攈ence the name 'Perfume River'. The Perfume River has two sources; both of which begin in the Day Truong Son mountain range and meet at Bang Lang fork. The 30-km river passes the landmarks of the Hon Chen Temple and the Ngoc Tran Temple.
