She wears an ermine-trimmed dress with low-cut collar showing the shoulders, and an elaborate headdress covering the hair with veils. Based on an effigy of Lady Vernon, Tong Church, Shropshire, a tapestry in St. Mary's Hall, Coventry, Royal and Harleian manuscripts, Froissart, Montfaucon.
