NASA astronauts Michael J. Massimino (right, on platform on end of robotic arm) and James H. Newman (out of frame) during extravehicular activity (EVA, or space walk) and to service the Hubble Space Telescope (HST). This space mission, STS-109, was the fourth servicing of the HST. The astronauts were making their first extravehicular activity (EVA) of the mission, following the act of two other crewmembers on the previous day. Photographed on 5th March 2002.
