Triceratops skull. This herbivorous dinosaur lived around 68-66 million years ago during the late Cretaceous period in what is now North America. It is now believed that its distinctive horns were used for courtship display rather than for fighting. Photographed at CosmoCaixa Science Museum, Barcelona, Spain.
