Navy Day At Chatham - Naval Fire fighting Service men, gave a thrilling demonstration of fire fighting and rescuing from a burning plane. Navy Day this year will be a lively at Chatham, with the Queen's ships for the first time acting as hosts to visiting crowds. The cruiser Superb which has been taking part this month in important combined Fleet exercises in the Central Mediterranean, was in port.
