Chinese ink and washes on paper; mounted as hanging scroll. 24.3 x 44.8cm. In the typical style with wasched ink is shown a temple in the mountains of Kyoto with many visitors on a snowy day. Signed at the top right: Sessh?godai (5th generation of Sessh? used by T鬶aku since 1603) and: T鬶aku hitsu and the same as seal.
The horizontal painting is mounted in green and grey-brown silk as for use in the tea ceremony. The later box (kiribako) and on the outside of the scroll in another hand: Hasegawa T鬶aku hitsu suiboku sansui (landscape painting in ink from Hasegawa
T鬶aku). Condition B/C. Kinked and restored. Supplement: wooden box; kiribako.Art trade; Van Ham.
