Strip of bobbin lace with fan scallop under a pattern with a zigzag and leaf-shaped forming strokes; Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: lace. The pattern is likely to repeat itself; but the strip is too short to know for sure. The pattern consists of two triangular fields at the bottom of the strip; between which a fan-shaped motif is placed; which also forms a scallop. The triangular fields are made with a grating ground: a straw grating ground. The impeller is made of linen with an openwork center line. Above this pattern is a zigzag band; made with straw trellis. The fields under the zigzag consist of a coarse braided soil; with one pair of juxtaposed motifs in each field made in form. A much flatter zigzag line made with a braid between overhanging pairs repeats itself in a narrow path at the top of the strip; which is finished straight; with a narrow band made with a straw-braided ground.; anonymous; Italy; c. 1800 - c. 1899; linen (material); torchon lace; l 6.5 cm x w 9 cm
