The repeating pattern consists of many flowers and leaves; including in the upper part of the strip an oblique rosette flower between three curling leaves. The motifs are connected by an irregular open bar soil with picots. The full work is made with festival stitches adorned with recesses; relief contours and raised cordons. Ornamental soils were used in various motifs. The upper side is finished with a border needle edge with a zigzag pattern.
