OVAL SILVER SUGAR BOWL WITH FLORAL DECOR.

Silver. On oval; scalloped foot corresponding; bomb?body with straight features. The arched lid
with rear hinge and small rocaille shell as pusher. Flowers on all sides and some
butterflies in flat relief as decor. On top of the lid also a pair of comedians on a small
lawn plinth. Ca. 266g. 9.5x13x9cm.

Inspection mark 1751-53 (Seling no.2050); maker's mark Gottlieb Christian Drentwett (Maker ca. 1749; died 1751; ib. no.2394). Condition A.
