City of Gransee; local district Dannenwalde: octagonal "Church on the way" (German: "Kirche am Weg"); built 1821 by Hermann von Zehdenick (1784 - 1842); a scholar of Gilly and Schinkel; in neo-Gothic style; The church is in use as bicycle church and hiking church. The church was renovated 1996 - 1998 and is in use in somemr months for religious services; exhibitions; concerts and literature events. The building of the church was ordered by Ferdinand von Waldow (1765 - 1830). There are as well two 15th century grave stones of von Waldow bishops; at the church which stopped services; in 1975; during time of GDR.
