
Brown-throated sloth (Bradypus variegatus) resting in a tree. This species of sloth is endemic to the tropical forests of Central and South America. They have woolly, matted brown fur and wide-spaced eyes, often with a white stripe on the forehead. Photographed in the Amazon rainforest, Iquitos, Peru.
