The red giant star Aldebaran dominates the picture of stars in the constellation of Taurus. The relatively bright white stars irregularly spaced to its right are part of the Hyades star cluster, which are much more distant than Aldebaran. Another small star cluster can be seen towards upper left. 10-cm, f/5, tricolor.
