Stargardt disease. Fundoscopy image of the retina of a patients left eye in a case of a form of retinal dystrophy known as Stargardt disease. The retina is the light-sensitive layer at the back of the eye. Stargardt disease is an inherited juvenile macular degeneration that can lead to blindness. This image shows a case of Stargardt disease with bulls eye maculopathy (a drug-related form of retinal damage known as chloroquine retinopathy).
